No woman is turned on by a man she can bully.

THE SIZZLE
You, my potential reader. You secretly long for those old-school romances your mother used to read – those dog-eared copies you sneaked into your bedroom and read into the night. You don’t need insta-love from page one. You’ll wait for the story to unfold.
You’ll wait for the sizzle.
Keep turning pages through the struggle . . .
. . . where heroes and heroines spar.
Match wits.
CLASH.
Explode together in fireworks.

ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
All of Your Lies
She neared the line of parked cars, phone pressed to her ear. It went to three rings. There was a click, someone about to answer.
She stopped cold.
Adam McClelland was leaning on the driver’s door.
Not the one belonging to his patrol SUV.
Hers.
Heart pounding, she pushed End on her cell phone pad.
The sheriff extracted a thin cigar from his shirt pocket and lit it. He stretched a little, seams pulling taut across the shoulders of his uniform.
Carly steadied herself on her wedged sandals, moving ever closer to the car. Don’t show any fear. Not a speck of it. Two feet away, she stopped, squeezing the leather straps to keep her hands from trembling.
He exhaled a stream of smoke. “Is Reese your type, Carly?”
“Not that I have a type, or that I’m even looking, but one thing is certain.” She let a deliberate gaze sweep over his tan uniform as though he wore a dirt suit. “I’m not into conventional and boring.”
“Usually when a woman tells me she’s bored, she wants me to change that.”
“Were we talking about you?”
He smiled. “In case you need a reminder, Dallas Wright isn’t the chief law enforcement officer around here. I am.”
“Aww. You sound a little insecure.”
Usually men blustered at her sarcasm. Instead the sheriff gave her another slow smile. He shifted an elbow against the car window and continued to leisurely smoke.
“Shouldn’t you be doing your regular duties, Sheriff? I bet there’s an expired parking meter with your name on it.”
His eyes gleamed. “A part of me likes the runaround you’re giving me, Carly. It’s going to be very satisfying when I catch you.”
